Today I am loving the Christmas season. I finished, for the most part, decorating our house with evergreens and lights. I feel like a wide-eyed little kid in my zeal for my Christmas tree — I just can’t get enough it! Days like this make me glad to be alive. It’s a good thing to bound out of bed in the morning, ready to conquer the day. I suppose it’s been awhile since I’ve approached the day so enthusiastically. It’s nice.

that’s true, it was slow.
even dena commented about that–she said it was difficult to shake the…um, shaker..that slowly.

i’ve never been such a proud, uh, christmas light loaner! your room looks fabulous and very festive. three cheers for the coziness of christmas decorations!!

wait a minute… i’m not a light loaner — i totally don’t want those things back. i’m a proud christmas light GIVER!

And we also love the coffee table, Rebecca. It really helped our room. I think we may have finally achieved what they call…”homey-ness”

once the twinkle lights went up in the big house in college they stayed up the rest of the year. we loved them.

i’m most pleased with the cosifying effect that both have had on our formerly cold dorm room.

i’m especially excited, because now there’s finally snow on the ground.
it only feels like a true christmas season to me if there is snow.
sarah Dec 9, 2003 7:01 PM
amen to that…it definately fells like it’s time for christmas now that snow has blanketed everything in sight.
i’m no longer just dreaming of a white christmas, because i can look out the window and see it in reality. yay.
