I’ve had a really wonderful birthday. I can’t put together coherent sentences anymore because it’s late and time to shut down for the night. Thanks to my mom for capturing this moment of me on my 34th birthday. I altered the camera settings and told her where the shutter button was, so it totally still counts for the DPP. Night, all!

Thanks for the sweet birthday wishes! It’s always awkward to put a self-portrait up the blog. There’s always internal voices that say it’s vain to put up a pic of yourself or that a particular photo doesn’t look nice enough. But you know what? Bottom line is that I like seeing blogging friends’ photos and I never once consider it an act of vanity. So there, internal voices. Suck it. ;)
