Hey, these are lovely! Quick camera geek question: what kind of equipment and lenses do you use? i’m especially curious about these close ups of the baby. Thanks!
Kerri, I’m pretty sure Dave & Sarah don’t call her Q. (Right, Sarah?) But I decided I’d call her Baby Q for awhile. The letter Q rocks. As does this little cutie.
Alina, I use a Canon Rebel XS (with a 50mm 1.4 lens for shooting portraits). I set my camera to aperture setting, choose an appropriate ISO, and let my camera do the rest of the work.
Thanks, B. Glad you made it to town!

Correction–I *do* call her Q!! Actually, I call her “Miss Q” or “Sister Q.” Sister Q kind of sounds like a nun, though.
And course I’m horribly biased, but your pics are awesome, RT! :)

That second one–the expression, for some reason, really reminds me of her mama.
Question: do they ever call her “Q”? Because that would be freakin’ AWESOME.
