Yes, it is really hot outside. The egg-frying part is debatable.
No, these photos were not taken recently. But they do seem fitting for a hot summer afternoon.
Yes, it is really hard to avoid looking at Facebook.
Yes, I might blog a lot more until I get Facebook out of my system.
Yes, I do miss reading about the minutiae of everyone’s lives.
No, I am not giving in already.
Yes, I am loving Summer 2011, hot weather and all.
Question #1: Do you like hot weather or cold better?
Question #2: How often do you check your email or Facebook or Yahoo News each day? Are you as obsessive as I am? Is this a problem for you, too, or is your level of online activity totally fine for you? Just curious.

1. I always enjoy the change in seasons, but midsummer and midwinter are a bit disagreeable at times.
2. I check email several times a day – I am at my desk a lot. But it IS too much, and has become compulsive. I would like to check it at a designated time each day, then leave it.
It isn’t just you.

1. I love Autumn most. But get excited for spring flowers, Summer nights with Brown Cows(root-beer floats), and Winter nights snuggled under a blanket.
2. I’m addicted too. Being home all day with my kiddos it’s a little part of the world I can keep up-to-date with.

I’m a mild weather kind of person so Spring and Fall were always my favorite. If it’s fry-an-egg-hot I want to be sitting in a pool or in air conditioning.
I’m not on Facebook. I have become pretty addicted to e-mail and blogs lately since I am home all.the.time with a newbie baby. But before then I would have time at night to check my e-mail and that felt like enough. Now I feel like I am a bit addicted and find myself getting frustrated when people don’t blog or e-mail me. :o)

ah, these photos are too good!
i love how each season is a relief after the season before it. that being said i get pretty tired of the mega hot/mega cold days. i think i’d opt for hot, though. maybe.
you’re not alone – i think i check things too often, too, just out of boredom/laziness when i could be doing other things. it’s compulsive, yep.

1) Fall for me. Given the choice I’d choose cold because I’m from central NC and cold is a bit foreign to us.
2) I’m too embarrassed to answer question bit honestly. More than I want to is the answer.
Thought about “Freedom for Mac?”

I’m feeling your pain in the fb withdrawal. I’m giving up alcohol. Hard stuff.

1) Cold, sister. I love “things” about summer, just not the weather (campouts, bbqs, ice cream, swimming, etc) but Fall is my all-time favorite because it’s chilly, pretty, almost Christmas and NOT August. Seriously.
2)I check it a lot, too, but I try to check stuff once in the morning before kids are up, then at nap-time I have a bit more leeway. I try to turn the monitor off when its just kids and me during the day, but that doesn’t always happen….

i used to think i loved cold weather and snow. but living in south florida has conditioned me to hot weather. winters down here are pretty awesome. 70s with beachy breeze.
i go in facebook/email checking waves. days will go by where i check occasionally. then i’ll get into a groove where it seems like i’ll click on over every time i walk by the computer (not too proud of that…).

1. Cold weather. All day long. Of course, I do love the early rising sun in the summer and the easy fashion of a sundress. But still, every year I dread it when the heat sets in and I know I won’t get a break until October.
2. I used to only ck facebook once a day. Then I joined the world of the iphone and I’m sad to admit I check it all day long. Except when I’m at work, and then I come home and realize with excitement that I have a whole day’s worth of status updates to read. It’s pathetic how much fun it is for me to catch-up. :)

1. I love Fall. I don’t do well in heat–and because I live in Vermont, anything over about 60 is “heat” to us. ;-)
2. I don’t like Facebook, but my grandchildren post there all the time, so it’s a good way to keep up with them.

LOVE THE FILTER on those shots! Or is it an applied effect? Very cool. Captured the Instamatic perfectly!
