On the Cob

Chicken-apple sausage, corn on the cob, green salad and garlic bread. This might just be the perfect dinner to eat in Nebraska in August. Mmmm. We paired it, not with a fine wine, but with Ponyo, which is a totally delightful family film.

    I hate to be the guy to compare dinners, but here goes. Last night Jenny made salmon, pumpkin seed pesto, linguine, and *urp* dandelion greens. (If anyone knows how to prepare dandelion greens without a horrible bitter taste let me know. I bought it thinking it was a smart pick.) All said, delicious fish and powerful pesto. We paired it with Knight and Day, a movie that nestles nicely into mindless summer movie treat.
