I should set the record straight that I didn’t invite Liv to a full-on mudathon, but rather a walk in the squishy mud (a la Ramona Quimby whose escapades we listen to on CD). One unbalanced moment turned the event into something more exciting… and the rest was history. She’d play in the mud, or roll herself in paint or ink, every day if I’d let her. : )
