Consider yourself warned. Actually, the parks I’ve visited yesterday and today didn’t omit offensive odors whatsoever. (The people I’ve been hanging with? Well, wish I could say the same. Ha.)
It was unseasonably warm in Lincoln, Nebraska, today and we enjoyed spending a little extra time outdoors. I anticipate a long winter ahead full of indoor activities—or outdoor activities where I’m incredibly uncomfortable in the wind and the snow—so today was a boost in morale for me. I feel like I’ve done a bit too much running around in the last day or so, all in the best way possible, but I’m really looking forward to a do-nothing kind of Sunday tomorrow.
Hope you enjoy a restful, worshipful kind of Sunday, too.

Just to be clear I am in NC and not in Lincoln. I am not one of the people being referred to.

Wow, what a bizarre sign! I love it. =) I collect weird signs on my blog, mostly under this tag: http://thoughtsfromhermes.blogspot.com/search/label/observations

In case you’re wondering….the trees don’t emit an offensive odor unless/until you try to cut them down for your free Christmas tree and take it indoors. Then the smell comes (triggered by the warmer temperature).
I think I read they use fox urine or something like that.

Really? Unseasonably warm? When we went out today (in Omaha) it was a balmy 13 degrees. It’s now 4. Degrees. Farenheit.
Ah, a fine Nebraska mornin’! (sounds better in the original Scottish)

Wouldn’t mind a bit of unseasonably warm weather up here – can you send some?

Adam, YESTERDAY was nice… 57 degrees or something. Today? Not so nice… It’s somewhere under 5 degrees now. Five degrees means your forehead freezes upon stepping outside. Brrr.
Bry, I hesitate to ask the temps in MN. Y’all make us look like wimps!
