Me: [Just arriving home from a meeting.] Sweetie, did you and Liv eat lunch?

Sweetie, er, Jeremy: Yeah, a little bit.

Me: What does that mean?

Jeremy: We had pork and pretzels.

Well hey, you’ve got your protein, carbs, a little (or a lot, depending) salt … so I guess dinner is fruits and vegetables? :)
