Fish are great pets. Don’t smell (unless you have goldfish and don’t change the water.) Aren’t noisy. Aren’t expensive (when you are going lowkey like this.) Affectionate, even if you can’t snuggle with them.
Sadly, our betta Poseidon decided he wanted to see the wider world and leaped out of his bowl last weekend to an untimely death.
