I was running through my blogroll during a class this afternoon and when I got to yours stopped for quite a long time, I was so captivated by this picture of your beautiful baby. The same thing just happened to me again and so I had to let you know. Precious.
Did we all have such beautiful skin once? She looks like one of those commercials where they tell you that the product being advertised will give you baby-soft skin. That sounds possible until you see a photo like this and realize that even though it’s cool to be an adult and walk and talk and stuff, your skin will never look as good as it did when you were two. Livia is my new beauty icon.

Now don’t get me wrong, because I think Livia is the most special little human ever and I don’t want to seem nutty, but the very first things out of my mouth when I saw the picture, “Alien baby?” I don’t know why, but she looks non-terrestrial. (I can only imagine if heard her baby babble at the same time as seeing this picture…she’s a martian!)
