[For Nebraskans only…]
If you’re like me and enjoy a good deal, in addition to saving money, pick up a Reel Deal card from Douglas Theatres the next time you catch a movie. Get the card stamped each time you plunk down your benjamins and you’ll soon get a free popcorn, free drink, and eventually a free movie pass. Not too shabby! The key is remembering to pull it out of your wallet each time…

unfortunately, i NEVER remember to do that. how am i supposed to remember to do that when there has been many a day when i make my lunch in the morning and then forget that i made it and leave it sitting on the counter all day. my memory can not handle these things! :)

is the card free? also, is it one stamp per visit, or can a family of nine going to see Shrek 2 get nine stamps and qualify for free Sour Patch kids right away??

It’s free, but it’s one stamp per visit.

i love the mother-daughter blog communication! : ) yup, sad to say it’s one stamp per person per visit (i had hoped to get two stamps on one card for jt and i… no go). and i just realized that douglas theaters upped the card #s to 10 — it used to be 8 stamps = one free movie. so perhaps folks are catching on to this sweet little deal.

Cher, I have a bunch of partially stamped cards because I can’t remember either. Maybe rt or jt could use them:).

it is kinda sad to see mother/daughter communication happening on the blog…but we do communicate face to face as well, so i guess it’s all good. andrew, give us a review on dodgeball–i saw a promo for it on e! and it looked promising. ah, the smell of the red rubber ball….
